ROAR!! It is World Lion Day! Help raise awareness for these iconic creatures. Lions are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN red list and their population continues to decline. The lion population has decreased by over 40% in the last 20 years. There are around 20,000 individuals left in the wild. Their biggest threats are habitat loss, conflicts with humans and the illegal wildlife trade.
