World Elephant Day! Help bring attention to the urgent need for elephant conservation.
In March of 2021, the IUCN announced that African elephants are closer to extinction than we thought. The African forest elephant is considered critically endangered and the African savannah elephant is now listed as endangered. Since Asian elephants have been listed as endangered since the 1980s, this is the first time all three species of elephants are considered endangered.
