Goodfellow Tree Kangaroos are marsupials, native to Papua New Guinea. They are listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List. Their population continues to decrease do hunting and habitat loss. Tree kangaroos are hunted for their meat. Their habitat is being destroyed for logging and agricultural production.

Fun Fact: When tree kangaroos get hot, they lick themselves in order to keep cool.
Always such fantastic photos, but it is very troubling to find these animals on endangered lists.
